How to change your hair

To change your hair in MapleStory, you need to spend money in the Cash Shop to buy special Coupons. In-game mesos will not do you any good. There are different kinds of coupons to buy, depending on where you want to change your looks and how much control you want over it (you can either buy VIP coupons to choose yourself, or buy the cheaper REG coupon and get something random). Different hair styles and hair colors are available depending on which town you go to. Below are tables showing you where to go for your dream looks. Hair Color Coupons and Hair Style Coupons are two different items, so you can buy the style from one shop and the color from another if you want to.

The table below tells you in what versions each hair color is available in what town. This is subject to change, so if you notice something different from this table, please help us and keep it up to date.

• August 5, 2009: Four new hair styles released with the 0.55 patch. Two in Kerning City (female Super Diva, and male Lucky Charms), and two in Mu Lung (female Tall Bun, and Male Cornrow Hair), despite the announcement of the new hair styles being in Kerning City and CBD.
• September 16, 2009: Four new hair styles released for royal coupons in Henesys, two female and two male. A new hair salon was also opened up in Ariant (through the NPC Mazra).
• January 20, 2010: Two new hair styles released for royal coupons in Henesys, one female and one male.
• May 13, 2010: Ten new hair styles released, five female and five male. (Currently the only known from these is Rollered Hair for female).
• December 15, 2010: Two new hair styles released for royal coupons (season 2) in Henesys (female Long Bang Hair, and male TigerJK Hair). Two ordinary VIP styles were also released in Henesys (female Evan Hair (F), and male Evan Hair (M)).
• January 12, 2011: Three new hair styles released (female Designer Hair, female Apple Long Long Hair, and male Clean-cut Short Hair).
• February 10, 2011: Two new hair styles released, possibly in Kerning City and NLC (female Shaggy Dog, and male Bowling Ball).
• March 9, 2011: Two new hair styles in Henesys (female Fourtail Braids, and male Neon Cactus).
• April 6, 2011: Two new hair styles (female Simple Ponytail, and male Cloud Hair).
