Description
The Dark Lord, who can be found in Kerning City, is the NPC who promotes qualified Beginners to Thieves. He also promotes thieves into either Bandits or Assassins. Finally, he advances qualified Bandits into Chief Bandits and Assassins into Hermits by requesting them to defeat his evil clone.

Trivia
- In the Dual Blade storyline, the current Dark Lord is named Jin.
- In the Dual Blade Quest Chain, he is supposedly the 8th Dark Lord.
- Interesting to note, he may look like a strange floating mask of some sort to many newer (and younger) players. However, he is actually standing on the ceiling.
