Description

A quiz, given by Cassandra, to see how good you are. This is a fast quiz, so no opening other web pages during it to get the answers! This has also been adapted for "AGENT TRAINING QUIZ" for Master M event. For more info speicifically on the Agent Quiz, refer to this page: Speed Quiz v.2

  • This is available only once every hour. For Agent Training, this has been reduced to 30 minutes per quiz.
  • Each question's time limit has, since the Find Master M updates, been increased from 10 seconds to 15 seconds.

Disadvantages

  • There are often 2 answers for some images. For instance, Yellow King Dokebi/Yellow King Goblin. So, you will have to randomly guess. Only ONE OF THEM is correct.
  • Certain differentiations can be conjectured. For instance, the Leafre Flight attendant from Orbis to Leafre, "Pelace", will always come first, around 34 questions remaining. "Harry", the Leafre Flight attendant from Leafre to Orbis shows up around 11 Questions remaining. Both Attendants are nearly identical.
  • With the advent of the Master M updates, the Speed quiz may be taken every half hour of the day, but can only be taken 5 times total throughout the day.

Procedure

  1. Talk to Cassandra in any town.
  2. Answer the Quiz by typing in answers at the bottom. You are timed per question. The quiz shows images of monsters and NPC's. (Global Note: The answers must be CASE SENSITIVE SPELLING! IF the answers is not exact, you're out of luck.)
  3. Depending on how many you get right, you get a reward.

Strategy

Here are some basic rules for upping your average score on the quiz, thereby getting more leaves per quiz!

  • Always captitalize the first letter of important words within names. Example: "JM From tha Streetz", or "Rinz the Assistant". The only known exception to this rule is "Mithril mutae" in which, "mutae" is not capitalized. "Reinforced Mithril Mutae" (which appears to be Orihalcon colored) still follows this rule.
  • Remember patterns and common names. Example, "Roly-Poly 1", "Roly-Poly 2", ... "Roly-Poly 10". These are the most important, as they show up much more commonly than specific Town NPCs. Refer to the "Re-occuring Questions" section below for some of these patterns.
  • Studying pushes it the extra limit. While maplewiki is a great source of studying material, in-game, you can go from town to town trying to memorize NPCs. For Monsters, try and use the pictures within your Monster Book to get an idea of what may be what.
  • Practice makes perfect. As you're quizzing, remember any answers you got correct or incorrect and try to remember which are which. If "Schegerazade" didn't work, then don't try that answer again. Attempt a different name.

Re-occuring Questions

These NPCs and Mobs may or may not come up on the quiz, but they frequently do and can be easily memorized based on patterns.
