Okay, so now your a magician. You might be asking yourself 'Now What?' Well, I have an idea for you. If you like the ability 'Magic Claw', I have a nice Build for you. Magic Claw will be your main form of attack and level up. Here is the SP build reccomended.

9 - 2 MP Recovery 1 Magic Claw

10 - 2 Magic Claw 1 MP Recovery

11 - 2 MP Recovery 1 Magic Claw

12 - 2 Magic Claw 1 MP Recovery

13 - 2 MP Recovery 1 Magic Claw

14 - 2 Magic Claw 1 MP Recovery

15 - 19 3 Max MP Increase

19 - 2 Magic Claw 1 MP Recovery

20 - 2 MP Recovery 1 Magic Claw

As for your AP Build, your luck should be your level+3, and all other points should go into Int.

Training:

Yeah, we all hate it, but there are SOME ways for it to be fun.

I'll get to that later. Here's a good list for training.

Level 1 - 8: Snails, Blue Snails (at 6+)

Level 9 - 15: Slimes, Orange Mushrooms

Level 16 - 20: Orange Mushrooms, Pigs

Level 21 - 30: Pigs, Ribbon Pigs [Lysterfiendx]Edit: Also Ant Tunnel is great xp, solo or in a party of two.

Level 25 - 30: Party Quest

Looks simple, right?

WRONG

Training takes time and dedication. But I really do have some ways to make it more fun (and possibly more profitible)

1. Train in parties - Parties can save you money since you earn a portion of the mesos that everyone else gets. It's fun because you also don't have to worry as much about kill stealing. You can also party loot, but I advise against this. If you are at level 15+, people who are training on slimes and orange mushrooms may be more willing to party with you.

2. Train with Friends (and form a party/guild with them) - You can chat with your friends at the same time, so it's more fun.

3. Take a Challenge - Every now and then, fight something powerful. If you're a new magician, fight a green mushroom. If you're level 15, fight a horny (quote-get your mind out of the gutter-unquote) mushroom. If you're level 20 or so, take on stone gollems in a party. The rewards can be worth it.

Money Tips:

If you're level 15 and short on cash, sell fame. People may pay as much as 20K for fame. But if they have a 'leave name' policy, don't do it. You'll get scammed out of fame.

Pick up ALL of your spoils. You'll commonly get mesos, and any items can almost always be NPC'd for money.

  • note from Cursor - most of this is true except he forgot to mention that at lvl 21 - 30 the BEST place to train is to kerning city pq aka kpq

also the current price of fame for fame is between 10k - 50k+ depending on who's buying
