Alex the Runaway Kid

Level Requirement: 20

Description

• Talk to Alex, located in Kerning City. He's above the ground, so you'll need to climb up.
• Acquire 50 Evil Eye Tails from Evil Eyes.
• Get 100 Pig's Ribbons from Ribbon Pigs.
• Go to Chief Stan, in Henesys, just outside Mushroom Park. After talking to him, he'll ask you some questions. Choose the following:

1. Well, I'm here at the request of Alex to see you. Please give me 5 minutes.
2. Stop it now! Alex is really sorry for running away.
3. Why don't you just ask Alex how he's doing?
4. I think you are a great chief of this town.
5. Alex been wandering around even since his mother's passing, along with your strict nature. How about forgiving him first?

• Chief Stan will give you Mother's Gold Watch. At this point you will gain 300 EXP.
• Return to Alex and talk to him.

Rewards

A random pair of earrings

• Gold Earrings
• Red Cross Earrings
• Lightening Earrings
• Emerald Earrings

and

• 550 Experience Points (from talking to Alex at the end)

Notes

• The earrings have either a level requisite of 25 or 30, so it is wise to finish this quest after Level 25 (unless you want to sell those earrings).
• If you answer one of Chief Stan's questions wrongly, you have to start from the 1st question again. But you do not have to hunt for the ribbons and tails again, because they will be taken away only after you have correctly answered all the questions.
• Remember that the Evil Eyes are the orange variety, not the green type (Curse Eye).
