Zattara's Guide To Become A Rogue
Hi and welcome to my tutorial to become a rogue! This is a work in progress!
The Rogue is the first job a thief can have. The Rogue needs to have 25 DEX and level 10 before becoming one. Go to Fusion Bar in Kerning City and talk to the person in the cellar.
Starting out
When you create your character, the stats is really important if you want to be a powerful Rogue. You will have to try and get your stats like this:
STR: 4
DEX: Any number
INT: 4
LUK: Any number
You can also have 4 STR and 5 INT for example, but NOTHING else but that. This will take some time, and will test your patience. After my first click i got 4 STR, 8 DEX, INT 4 and LUK 9. Now that's "LUCK" :) (Sorry for the bad joke!)
Playing the game
(Europe Maple Only Part)When you start out, you will appear on the top of a platform. Talk with the lady to your left, and click Next and Yes when they appear. You know get inside a tutorial. Complete this tutorial and earn a few extra XP before moving on.(/Europe Maple Only Part)
Ok, the first thing you want to do is start killing the snails that you will see throughout the beginning part of the game. They will be though now, but easier later on. You would want to grind (Means that you stay on one spot killing the monsters that you see there, when they respawn you kill them again, therefore gaining much EXP) these till you get to level 5. THIS THING IS REAL IMPORTANT, WHEN YOU LEVEL UP, PUT ALL YOUR ABILITY POINTS INTO THE DEX CONTAINER UNTIL IT'S 25. AFTER THAT, PUT YOUR AP INTO LUK When you're level 5, you can start trying to kill bigger monsters to stack up even more EXP. When you are level 9 with around 75%, you should go right until you get to a town, go to the far right and talk with the captain of the boat. Ask to go to Victoria Island (or whatever). Note, you can never go back to maple island after taking this boat.
Now when you're in this town, start going to the right and take the portal to get out of the town. If you have the cash, you can just take the yellow taxi to Kerning City instead of walking. If you decide to walk though, make sure to press W often and check where you're going. Kerning City is to the left middle of the map. When you get to Kerning, go to Fusion Jazz Bar. It's to the east of Kerning. When you get inside, head down and talk to Dark Lord hanging upside down. He will tell you a lot of things, after you've became a Rogue, you can ask some stuff about the job wich you can learn a lot from.
