Sleepywood is a unique and dangerous town, with no job advancements for any character. However, Sleepywood has areas not available anywhere else on Victoria Island, such as the Sauna Room. It is located in the heart of Victoria Island. East of Sleepywood is the Ant Tunnel, hosting some of the strongest monsters in Victoria Island, including the strongest boss in Victoria Island, Jr. Balrog. Areas west of Sleepywood are good training spots for those in their late 20's. However, you should be at least level 25-30 (depending on class) before training in the Ant Tunnel, located in the right portal of Sleepywood. It is NOT suggested that you head towards the dungeon until at least level thirty-one.

Sleepywood's Location

Sleepywood and Dungeon can be accessed from the 3 towns of Henesys, Kerning, and Perion. In Henesys, enter the top right portal of the town map and go two maps right to Dungeon. From that map, the bottom right portal will take you to Sleepywood. In Kerning, go to the Party Quest area and enter the middle "drain." Follow the Warning Street and it will bring you to the same map as Henesys Warning Street did. From Perion, the entrance to Warning Street is clearly marked in the bottom right area. Again, follow Warning Street and you will end up at the same map as the other paths. Typically, because there is walking to be done, players will go to the sauna the first time they reach Sleepywood and buy some return scrolls for convenience.

The Sauna

The Sleepywood Hotel/Sauna is unique to the town. It can be accessed through the top center portal marked "Hotel." If you talk to the receptionist, she will offer you two choices: the Regular or VIP Sauna. The Regular Sauna doubles your MP/HP recovery rates while the VIP Sauna triples it. (has not been verified) A potion shop can be accessed through the NPC in the sauna. The VIP Sauna NPC also offers a level 30 quest, Mr. Wetbottom's quest, which will get you a Sauna Robe.
