Ok I've been searching around and apparently there's no guide to The Forest of Patience, so I decided to create one. I haven't gotten through all of it, so I'll keep adding to this guide. If I make any typos, feel free to correct them.

Havvy - Author, move this entire part before the start of the actual content to the talk page. Then sign your name for what you wrote.

John

The Forest is really only there for a quest, John's Pink Flower Basket. To start the quest, you must be at least level 15. Go to Lith Harbor. You'll find a man named John. He's tossing fish into a bucket. Talk to him, and he'll say something about getting his wife flowers for their wedding anniversary. Then he'll ask you to get him 10 pink violas. He mentions something about a mysterious statue in Sleepywood and a deep forest.

Note from Hbukgo31: another quest is talking to Sabitrama to get the herb he needs for his medicine. First talk to Sabitrama and then go to Ellinia and talk to Shane.

Sleepywood

There are three ways to get to Sleepywood. The first is by walking from any town besides Ellinia (see note below) to the Dungeon and then to Sleepywood. (Henesys is recommended because of the low level monsters and ease of getting there.) Read the following for which town you are at.

Henesys

A simple path. At the top right corner of the main town there is a portal to hidden street. Enter it and head right two maps where you'll meet a guard of the dungeon. Enter the dungeon and try to find the portal to Sleepywood.

Perion

A somewhat hard path. You must go through fire boars and regular boars. Enter the bottom left portal of Perion and find the entrance, a few more portals away. (The path is only two-way) Once you are in the dungeon, you must again locate Sleepywood yourself.

Kerning City

A very dangerous path only for those level 25 and up. By the time you are this level, you would have surely found Sleepywood.

Note on Ellinia

It is possible to get to Sleepywood from Ellinia. Walk two maps north of Ellinia to The Tree That Grew. On this map you can teleport up using the trunk on the left hand on the map. Keep going up through The Tree That Grew II and The Tree That Grew III until you reach Top of the Tree That Grew. If you jump off the platform there you fall 300km into Sleepywood (normally about 30 damage). This is probably the easiest way for lower levels to get to Sleepywood.

The second way to go is by scroll.

Any Town in Victoria Island

You can ask somebody to give you a scroll to Sleepywood. It's much quicker, but it costs money and you have to find somebody who will sell you a scroll.

The last way to go is not recommended. Take the VIP Cab, the black taxi in every town. For 10k, it will take you to Deep Ant Tunnel II, the tenth ant tunnel. Then you can walk 10 maps west, and you're there. Of course, if you're a noob you can just die and you'll be transported to Sleepywood.

  • Note: the VIP Cab will take you to the 24 Hour Mobile Store, which is basically a shop with some HP and MP items.

In summary, the best way to get to Sleepywood is either by walking from Henesys or by scroll.

The Mysterious Statue

Click on it and you will be teleported to The Deep Forest of Patience. Try to jump the tiny pieces of land without falling; If you fall, you will lost damage and will have to try again. When you reach the next few stages, you will see green fluffy stuff. Try to avoid it or else you will fall and need to restart all ever again. The few stages, there will be larger red fluffy stuff which are faster, avoid it as possible and then you will reach the top. You will see a pile of pink flowers. Collect it and you will be back in Sleepywood.

Note: You can come back if you want. When you reach the top, you can get a couple of Ores
