Introduction

Welcome to my guide for the dexless sin. At the moment, this guide will take you from being a beginner right up to an Assassin. I don't like guides which say "do this" and "do that". That is why my guide gives you freedom. I offer lots of different options for you to take, for example many training areas and skill builds. If you have any suggestions as to how I can improve this guide, use the discussion tab above. I would greatly appreciate your contribution, because I am a perfectionist. I don't want any spelling or grammar mistakes. So please tell me, even if I have got a tiny little word wrong. Also tell me if a section is unclear, because that will help everyone who reads this guide. If you have a training area or skill build to submit, please do write it (in the discussion tab). I want my guide to be as complete as possible. Thank you for your time, consideration and (hopefully) contribution.

Beginner

Ability points

On the dice roll when you create your character, you should aim for 4 on STR and INT. It doesn't matter what DEX and LUK are.

Every time you level up, you get 5 ability points. As stated above, maintain your DEX so that you can get it to 25. All the other points should go into LUK. Never ever put any points into HP, MP or STR. Never. Full stop. If you do, you will be weaker than other Dexless Sins the same level as you. You might be tempted to put points into them, but don't. Just don't. Or else you'll regret it.

LUK = Any
INT = 4
STR = 4
DEX = Any

Skill builds

Recommended build

2 - Nimble Feet (1)
3 - Nimble Feet (1)
4 - Nimble Feet (1)
5 - Recovery (1)
6 - Recovery (1)
7 - Recovery (1)

Nimble Feet is maxed first so you can use it in an emergency, for example if you are being chased by an Orange Mushroom (which is dangerous to you at your level). Recovery is maxed next so you can use it if you want to quickly recover some HP. No points are put into Three Snails because it is useless. When you become a rouge/sin it will become totally useless because of the low damage it does. You also have to spend time killing snails for their shells to throw. Whoopee. Really though, it doesn't actually matter what you go for. When you get to a higher level, you will never use these again. This is just the recommended build.

Training areas

Snail Hunting Ground 1: Snails (1-10)

Train here until you get to level 10. Pick up the money the snails drop. When you get to level 10, do not fight any monsters. Go straight to Southperry and catch the ship to Victoria Island (check the world map (press W) to see how to get there). The only quest you should do on Maple Island is Pio and the Recycling. The chair it gives you is very useful.

Thief

At Lith Harbour, talk to Olaf. Do his questionnaire, then tell him you want to be a thief. Talk to Phil. Tell Phil you want to go to Kerning City. When you are at Kerning City, go to the jazz place at the far left of the map. Go to the bottom of the place and speak to The Dark Lord and you will have become a Thief!

Skills

  Nimble Body
Master level: 20
Type: Passive
Description: Increases accuracy and avoidability.

  Keen Eyes
Master level: 8
Type: Passive
Description: Increases the range of attack using throwing weapons such as throwing stars & knives.

  Disorder
Master level: 20
Type: Support
Description: Temporarily decreases the stats of an opponent. Its weapon def. and attack will suffer; the attacking enemy will suddenly stop attacking. You can't perform the attack on an enemy that's already in "disorder", however.

  Dark Sight
Master level: 20
Type: Support
Description: Use MP to hide behind the shadows. While hiding, the enemy can't attack, but you can't attack back either. Magic attacks will still affect you. All movements other than attacking are available. It's temporary, so after a while, you'll be back to normal.

  Lucky Seven

Skill builds

Recommended build

10 - Nimble Body (1)
11 - Nimble Body (2), Keen Eyes (1)
12 - Keen Eyes (3)
13 - Keen Eyes (3)
14 - Keen Eyes (1), Lucky Seven (2)
15 - Lucky Seven (3)
16 - Lucky Seven (3)
17 - Lucky Seven (3)
18 - Lucky Seven (3)
19 - Lucky Seven (3)
20 - Lucky Seven (3)
21 - Disorder (3)
22 - Nimble Body (3)
23 - Nimble Body (3)
24 - Nimble Body (3)
25 - Nimble Body (3)
26 - Nimble Body (3)
27 - Nimble Body (2), Darksight (1)
28 - Darksight (3)
29 - Darksight (3)
30 - Darksight (3)

The first point is put into Nimble Body so that you can get keen eyes on your next level. This will help you throw further. You can't put your first point into Lucky Seven because you will start leveling allot slower as you get higher level, if you do keen eyes first, you will level slow, but when you get Lucky Seven you will start to level fast.

Training areas

Henesys Hunting Ground 1: Snail (10-15)
Henesys Hunting Ground 1: Slimes (15-20)
Henesys Hunting Ground 1: Orange Mushrooms and Green Mushrooms (20-25)
The Pig Beach: Pigs and Ribbon Pigs (21-25)
Kerning City Party Quest (21-30)
Subway Line 1 Area 1: Bubblings (23-30)
Dungeon, Southern Forest 4: Green Mushrooms and Horny Mushrooms (25-30)

A lot of training areas are offered so that you don't get bored. At level 10, you should go to Henesys Hunting Ground 1 because allot of people don't go to snails there, and if your down there, you will be able to kill them alot faster than slimes. You should also try Orange Mushrooms at Henesys Hunting Ground 1 once Slimes are becoming too easy for you. Green Mushrooms are better exp at Henesys Hunting Ground 1 than Orange Mushrooms, but you will be using more red/orange potions, so be prepared if you go there. The Pig Beach is another excellent place to train, but to be on the safe side you should only go there once you are level 21. You can attempt the Kerning City Party Quest when you are level 21, but you should wait until you are level 24 at the minimum because at level 21 you won't be able to kill some of the monsters in there very well. Party Questing is probably the best place to train until level 30, but if you want a little variety, Green Mushrooms at Henesys Hunting Ground 1, Bubblings at the Kerning City Subway and Green Mushrooms and Horny Mushrooms at Dungeon, Southern Forest 4 are the best alternatives.
