Bob the snail is a monster that sometimes can be found at the Drake's Dinner Table inside the dungeon. Several rumors say that if you kill Bob, any scroll you use will work, regardless of the item or scroll. This was proven false by the user "grandmagebob" (see video link below)
No one knows the reason Bob the Snail is around. Some say it's for comic relief, others say he has an undiscovered purpose, maybe he's just there to make us all ask questions. Whatever the reason truly is, Bob the Snail remains a sight of awe for many maplers.
