-MapleStory's twitter account, @MapleWorld is full of ban counts these days. Within only a couple of days, the twitter account claims to have banned hundreds of people. Mostly they are hackers and gold farmers.

-Good job Nexon, hackers are banned and gold farmers are getting hit head on. However, there shouldn't be so much manpower wasted on simply going around to ban people.

-Instead, one suggestion is to completely legalize meso selling in the cash shop and advertise it as a legitimate way to purchase mesos. Such would effectively ruin the sales of the gold farmers and cause them to either sell at a lower price or shut down. There would be less of an incentive as there is a legal alternative.

-On the other hand, why not introduce an ignore function? This would shut down the spammers in the free market more easily than to wait for a GM to come and ban the person. Just type in the chat box, /ignore <nowiki>[name]</nowiki> and you'd never see their chats again.
