Versal appears to be an alternate dimension much different than Maple Story's world, where monsters are peaceful and people are given names based on the monsters. Also, at Xmas time, they celebrate it differently than Maplemas. It is called Versalmas and they celebrate by giving gifts such as fish and cactuses away instead of the traditional gift giving as in Maplemas.
