Kometto's Pirate Guide

A pirate has the power to shoot cannons, do powerful stunts, and knock out their foes with their fists. With their guns or knuckles they can take out any foe.

The Pirate has two way job route. Becoming either a knuckle user(infighter), or a gun user(gunslinger).

Starting Your Pirate

To get the perfect pirate get your stats like this

• STR: Anything
• DEX: Anything
• INT: 4 or 5
• LUK: 4 or 5

Since the pirate use STR and DEX they can be anything. The combination for INT and LUK should be: 4 and 4, 4 and 5, or 5 and 4. If you're going to use knuckles You need STR as high as it can be and DEX equal to your Lvl. For gun pirates it is opposite.

Becoming a Pirate

I'm guessing you have to talk to Olaf to become a pirate first. So talk to Olaf and say you're becoming a pirate. Go to Nautilius Port. Go to the job instructer(don't know name yet). Nautilius Port is in between. Henesys and Ellinia. Once there you can become the pirate.

Pirate Skills

Quick Motion [Level 20]:

Description: Increases Accuracy and Avoidability

Type: Passive

• Level 1: Increases Accuracy 1 and Avoidability 1
• Level 20: Increases Accuracy 20 and Avoidability 20

First Strike [Level 20]

Description: Punches one enemy with force(does not need knuckle)

Type: Active

• Level 1: -6 MP, 126% Damage , targets 1 enemy
• Level 20: -14 MP, 240% Damage, targets 1 enemy

Back-Flip Kick [Level 20]

Description: The character executes a Back-Flip Kick, damaging many monsters

Type: Active

• Level 1: -8 MP, 84% Damage, targets 3 enemies
• Level 20: -16 MP, 160% Damage, targets 6 enemies

Double Barrel Shot [Level 20]

Description: Shoots 2 extremely fast but weak bullets

Type: Active

• Level 1: -5 MP, uses 2 bullets, 61% damage, Range 380
• Level 20: -9 MP, uses 2 bullets, 80% damage, Range 380

Dash [Level 10]

Description: Double either left or right arrow keys to dash in that direction

Type: Supportive

• Level 1: -14 MP, +12 speed, +1 jump, Lasts for 4 seconds
• Level 20: -5 MP, +30 speed, +10 jump lasts for 20 seconds

AP Distribution

Mobbing Build:

• Level 10: Dash(1)
• Level 11-17: First Strike(MAXED) or Double Barrel Shot(MAXED), Back-Flip Kick(1)
• Level 18-24: Back-Flip Kick(MAXED), Quick Motion(2)
• Level 25-30: Quick Motion(MAXED)

Dash Build:

• Level 10: Dash(1)
• Level 11-13: Dash(MAXED)
• Level 14-20: First Strike(MAXED) or Double Barrel Shot(MAXED), Back-Flip Kick(1)
• Level 21-24: Back-Flip Kick(11), Quick Motion(2)
• Level 25-30: Quick Motion (MAXED)

You can also max every skill except quick motion. But you won't have as much accuracy. You'll have less accuracy than low-dex build warriors. This only applies if you're a knuckle pirate. If you're an gun pirate you don't have to max quick motion. Since you're DEX should be high as a crossbowman's.

Training Places

Level 1-10: Knuckle Pirate - are able to train on mostly all of maple island so do all the quest. Gun Pirate - You are able to kill all of the enemies pretty easy as well. But you should get a weapon such as razor or fruit knife from biggs quest.

Level 11-15: Knuckle Pirate and Gun Pirate - Kill slimes and at lvl 13 or 14 fight mushrooms if you can.

Level 16-20: Knuckle Pirate and Gun Pirate - Kill mushrooms and by lvl 19 and 20 go to pig beach and kill the pigs and ribbon pigs.

Level 21-25: Still train at pig beach but you can try KPQing at lvl 23 and up.

Level 26-30: You can kill Green Mushrooms and Horned Mushrooms. You can also do the KPQ.
