About Monster Carnival Season 2

Monster Carnival Season 2, also called Monster Carnival 2 or CPQ2, is the 2nd season of Monster Carnival. However, the monsters are now changed into monsters from deeper within Ludibrium. CPQ2 is only for maplers ranging from levels 51-70.

In order to enter the Monster Carnival 2 map, you must see Spiegelmann located in Ludibrium, Orbis, Singapore or Malaysia. You cannot access CPQ2 through Kerning City.

CPQ 2 is dislike towards many Clerics because they cannot heal attack in this PQ. Although, the most monster in CPQ 2 are undead just like the real ones below in Ludibrium that doesn't mean it can be damage by heal. Forcing Clerics to uses Magic Claw that is why not many Clerics found in CPQ 2

Gameplay

Gameplay is exactly like Season 1, except the maps, monsters, and EXP rates have changed. For more info, see Monster Carnival. Also, note that each monster, unlike Season 1, only gives 1 EXP each. Therefore, the main objective is the reward EXP at the end, rather than the EXP given from the monsters. Players are able to redeem their previous Spiegelmann necklace including a better Chaos Necklace. However, you need to get 150 Shiny Maple Coins to obtain the Chaos Necklace.

The two minute, 33k EXP, trade win method

  • A common method for acquiring Experience quickly through Monster Carnival: Season 2 is to first create a group and find another group that is willing to trade wins. Choose which team will win first (in this example, your team will go first), then begin the Party Quest and acquire 50 CP. After 2 minutes, have the other team quit the game. The team that stayed will receive 33,000 Experience. Start the PQ once more, let the other team acquire 50 points, then have your team quit. You can continue this process indefinitely. This method previously gave 63,000 EXP prior patch 0.78.
