There is a sign in the forest indicating dangerous monsters.
It can be spotted if you make your way from the Kerning Swamps to Sleepywood. The map is called Dungeon: Deep Forest. Talk to it.
Hunt 99 Green Mushrooms.
Go to the Rememberer to collect your prize.

2nd time:

You can do this quest twice.
For the second time, you must kill 999 green mushrooms, and the reward is reduced.
Partying with others is an effective way of getting this quest done quickly; all your party member's kills will be counted as your kills as well.
