Jump Quests (or JQs for short) are quests that test a player's patience and skill. A jumping quest is typically a quest that can only be completed by jumping across tiny platforms while avoiding obstacles and hazards. Many view Jump Quests as a waste of time, as it could take hours to finally complete one. In a Jump Quest, all skills and effects of equipments are disabled. This means that skills such as Haste and Teleport as well as the effects of Speed Pills and items like Icarus Cape (2) that add speed or jump will not take effect while in a Jump Quest map. Although most people view Jump Quests as a waste of time, people skilled at them may redo the quest in order to gain Mineral Ores or Jewel Ores, depending on the quest.
