Procedure
- Talk to Alex in Kerning City (above the Pharmacy)
- Head over to Henesys and talk to Chief Stan (outside Mushroom Park).

Procedure
- Talk to Chief Stan in Henesys
- Collect 60 Pig's Ribbon
- Collect 30 Evil Eye's Tail
- Talk to Chief Stan again (Choose the following answers to his questions)

- Stop it now! Alex is really sorry for running away.
- Why don't you just ask Alex how he's doing?
- I think you are a great chief of this town.
- Alex been wandering around even since his mother's passing, along with your strict nature. How about forgiving him first?

- Take the Old Gold Watch and talk to Alex in Kerning City

Notes
- The earrings have either a level requisite of 25 or 30, so it is wise to finish this quest after Level 25 (unless you want to sell those earrings).
- If you answer one of Chief Stan's questions wrongly, you have to start from the 1st question again. But you do not have to hunt for the ribbons and tails again, because they will be taken away only after you have correctly answered all the questions.
- Remember that the Evil Eyes are the yellow variety found deep in the Ant Tunnels, not the green type (Curse Eye)
