Mounts are a staple in Maplestory. Mounts are tamable animals you can ride virtually anywhere. Gaining a mount grants you a certain sense of accomplishment, as well as having increased speed and jump. The only stipulation is that gaining a mount requires a hefty sum of mesos to do, reaching at least over 50 million mesos.
In Global and Japanese versions of Maplestory, some mounts have the ability to fly.
Options
Adventurers
- Level 70 Adventurers in third job can recieve their own mount, known as Hogs.
- Once you reach level 120 and fourth job, you can upgrade your mount into a Silver Mane.
- Once you reach level 200, you can make the final upgrade to a Red Draco.
Cygnus Knights
- Once you reach level 50 and second job, you can recieve their feathered mount Mimiana
- Once you reach level 100 and third job, you can upgrade your mount into a Mimio
- Once you reach level 120, and become a Captain Knight you can make the final upgrade to a beautiful Shinjou.
Aran/Evan
- First Mount: Werewolf (1) or Stage One Dragon
- Second Upgrade: Werewolf (2) or Stage Two Dragon
- Third Upgrade: Werewolf (3) or Stage Three Dragon
Obtained
- The hogs are captured in Aqua Road
