GETTING TO ASTAROTH
0- Before starting, you should had done every quest and you should have your Andras/Crocell/Amdusias/Valefor/Marbas hat. You should be under level 40 aswell and an adventurer class. Cygnus Knights aren't allowed. EDIT: Everyone is allowed (if they are 40 or below). You just need a Gas Mask. If you have it, you're allowed to fight Astaroth.
1- Dances with Balrog ask us to investigate the area where Andras was. Kill the Strange Dark Stumps in West Rocky Mountain IV, outside the Demon's Doorway to find a Ripped paper -1 (Tip: I started from Dances with Balrog because I'm a warrior. You should start from your job instructor, and after killing your own boss (Andras for warriors))
2- Bring it to Dances with Balrog and he'll ask us to go investigate in other towns for other demons. (Here it should've appeared a Light Bulb on top on your head. Click it and accept the four quests called "Who Broke the Seal of Valefor", "Who Broke the Seal of Crocell", "Who Broke the Seal of Amdusias" and "Who Broke the Seal of Marbas".
3- Let's start with the nearest one, the Valefor one: Head to Kerning City Middle Forest III and do the same as before, kill Strange Horny Mushrooms til you find the Ripped paper -2 and then go talk to Dark Lord in Kerning City.
4- NEXT! Now let's do the same with Amdusias in Henesys: Head to Henesys Hunting Ground III and kill Strange Orange Mushrooms until you find the Ripped paper -3. After that, go talk with Athena Pierce in Henesys.
5- Siguiente! Now let's do the same with Crocell in Nautilus: Head to The Forest East to Henesys and kill Strange Ribbon Pigs until you find the Ripped paper -4. After that, go talk with Kyrin in Nautilus.
6- And last one, Marbas in Ellinia: Head to The Tree that Grew III and kill Strange Dark Stumps until you find the Ripped paper -5. After that, go talk with Grendel the Really Old in Ellinia. (Tip: Collect and Save the Flints Dark Stumps drop. You will need them in the future)
7- After you had collect every Ripped paper part and talked to every job instructor, a Light Bulb will appear on top of your head. Click it and select the quest called Revealed Identity. The Rememberer asks you to bring every piece of ripped paper you found to him. Let's do it. Head to Sleepywood and talk to The Rememberer. (Tip: A fast way to get to Sleepywood is going to the Top of the Tree that Grew and simply drop yourself.)
8- The Rememberer tells you that the Demon put himself those Ripped papers in order to us to find them. Then, The Rememeberer tells you that you should be able to battle the Demon when you train a little bit more. (When you reach lvl 25). So.. let's train! (Tip: You can go to Henesys PQ, Kerning PQ or just grinding. I just did Kerning PQ and killes Zombie Mushroom at Ant Tunnel. Do whatever you want)
9- When you reach lvl 25, talk to The Remember to start your training (yeah, more) with him. Accept every Training quest and as they say, kill 50 Horny Mushrooms, 50 Zombie Mushrooms and 50 Evil Eyes. :p
10- After that, talk to The Rememberer. He will tell you about the demon called Astaroth who was who controlled every Demon and ask us to defeat him. He tells you that you need to protect yourself from a Astaroth stink. He will create a device that would prevent us to smell that if we bring him 30 Pieces of Wild Boar Leather, 30 Evil Eye Eyeball and 30 Charm of Undead. So, basicaly we have to kill Wild Boars, Evil Eyes and Zombie Mushrooms and collect those items. (Tip: I recommend you to ask someone is higher lvl than you to help you with this, because finding 30 Pieces of Wild Boar Leather is KINDA hard.) (Tip: A nice spawn place for Evil Eyes is Hunting Ground on the Deep Forest I) (Tip: A nice spawn place for Zombie Mushrooms is Ant Tunnel I) (Tip: A nice spawn place for Wild Boars is East Domain of Perion. There's a hidden portal.) (Tip: Wild Boars drop Wild Boar's Leather and normal Leather. At first sight they may look identical but they aren't. You need 30 Wild Boar's Leather, so don't mess up)
11- When you got everything with you, give it to The Rememberer and he'll give you the ultimate Gas Mask. Now you can head to the Dark Cave and defeat Astaroth.
12- Find a party of 3~5 members. EVERYONE must have a Gas Mask. Having a cleric wouldn't be a bad idea. When everyone is ready head to the Dark Cave and get in the Astaroth's Doorway. Make sure you wear the Gas Mask in order to cross the first map. After the first map you can equip your normal hat again. Make your way until you reach the top of the dungeon. There's another door, but don't worry, you're still safe inside it. When everyone's ready cross the last door. Good luck fighting Astaroth.
13- After killing Astaroth, come back to The Rememberer. He will give you 10k exp and 10 fame.

When you enter the map, Astaroth is already there (you don't have to summon it, or talk to a NPC, ...), so get ready before entering, specially bring a lot of pots. He will attack you constantly with some kind of Magma rocks coming out the ground. The rocks have a big range, so he will attack you even you can't see him. This main attack does 200~300s dmg. He uses the Reaper skill aswell, which knockback everyone near him with a chance of getting the Undead status.
I recommend to have at least a cleric on your party (that doesn't lag) and should be fine.
(Thanks SVT125 for the info)

Undead becomes a pain in the butt after a while.
If you're a ranged class; stay as far away as possible. When he begins to use his Reaper attack, move back some ways to dodge it, don't try and run into it so you don't get knocked back. You're better off not getting hit. When he uses Magma, don't just stand there like an idiot trying to attack it. Run away out of range of the attack.
Bring plenty of pots. At level 40-, you can only take so many 200~300 damage attacks. You burn pots quickly in there.
