Description
- Horntail is currently second-strongest monster in MapleGlobal, MapleSEA and Japan MS and is the final boss of the Riprey Party Quest
- The fight is divided into 3 parts:
- Left Head, in which you fight Horntail's/Horned Tail's/Soul Tail's Left Head
- Right Head, in which you fight Horntail's/Horned Tail's/Soul Tail's Right Head
- A final fight against the whole monster as displayed above.
The Full Body
- The final dragon has multiple body parts, each with their own stats and abilities, much like the first part of the Zakum fight.
- The parts include:
- Horntail's/Horned Tail's/Soul Tail's Left Hand
- Horntail's/Horned Tail's/Soul Tail's Right Hand
- Horntail's/Horned Tail's/Soul Tail's Legs
- Horntail's/Horned Tail's/Soul Tail's Wings
- Horntail's/Horned Tail's/Soul Tail's Tails
- Horntail's/Horned Tail's/Soul Tail's Head A
- Horntail's/Horned Tail's/Soul Tail's Head B

- Only a handfull of people have managed to kill this monster. When a party does manage to kill it, a message is sent to all players in the current world saying, "To the crew that have finally conquered Horned Tail after numerous attempts. I salute thee! You are the true heroes of Leafre!!"
