I figure that this should work fine for categorizing all of the different sections, of course I also plan on contributing to all of these sections, but first I plan on creating the hierarchy. If you have any comments on this, or even better wish to help me on this (Since I see you've been here a while and help out here a lot) it would be lovely to get some input from another.

As for the pages for weapons, yes I plan on using them all on one page per type Example : Daggers on one page, instead of for example "Fruits Dagger" on one page. That template is still usable, it's just that the weapon will simply be entitled it's own ''H1'' on the page.
This does however mean that I will have to go through all of the guides, and check for anything that refers to certain Skills, Weapons, Armor, etc and change it to refer directly to those pages and the place on the page, for example <nowiki>[[Archer Skills#Focus]]</nowiki> instead of <nowiki>[[Focus]]</nowiki>. The changes shouldn't be too hard, but it will take some time. The down-side is that they have blocked MapleWiki at my school, so I no longer have 4th period to perform updates, which means it'll be a bit slower until June 1st. :/

Why aren't you an admin yet?

You have a ton of edits and pages under your belt. You definitely deserve to be an admin. Azith 13:03, 6 May 2006 (CDT)

Yes, your fighter has much more hp than my page. This is because he is a fighter, while I am a page. Fighters naturally have more hp than pages, while pages have the most mp of all warriors (yes, this is actually true). --Champion911 08:27, 24 May 2006 (CDT)

Rules

Due to the fact that they did not do Maplestory [name], they have not been included. Mapletip 23:31, 3 September 2006 (CDT)

Mapletip:How to Help

I will get started on the template for the boxes. I will keep you updated. --R1e2u3b4e5n6 02:34, 10 March 2007 (CST)

Weapon template

I have little knowledge of formatting and programming, but I can try to make the style of table that thou usedst in Beige Umbrella, Bamboo Sword, Black Umbrella, Diao Chan Sword, Khan, and Sword. Good night. —Zeti X 19:04, 15 March 2007 (CDT)

I have already finished O.o. Go to Template:Weapon and see if you like it. Good night. —Zeti X 22:02, 15 March 2007 (CDT)

Skills

Actually, I'm trying to get rid of the seperate pages, and simply merge them into one, as the skills do not go into enough depth to deserve their own pages. I also am trying to go around and refine all of the categories so that there is a minimum of clutter, and a maximum of sense/information.

Here is how I believe it will work best : - Denotes section/subsection for every other one, + Denotes an actual page

- Skills

+Beginner

+Archer

+Warrior

+Thief

+Magician

+Hunter

+Crossbowman

+Page

+Fighter

... (Etc in that fashion for Skills, which will be listed by Class)

- Guides (Manage & Clarify, no changes there), this is simply because of the layout of the page.

-Armor

+Overall

+Top

+Bottom

+Shoes

+Hat

+Gloves

- Weapons

+Dagger

+Claw

+Bow

+Xbow

+Spear

+Wand

+Staff

+Etc... you get the point...

- Maps

-- Maple Island

+++ Amherst, Rainbow Road : A Hill West Of Amherst, etc

-- Victoria Island

-- Ossyria Island

-- Ludibrium Island/Ludus Lake

-- Ariant

-- Leafre/Riprey

-- Mureung / Ginger Town

-Monster

++ By Area

++ By Level

++ By Weakness

++ By KB

(All monsters go generally under "Monster" however are referenced by the PAGES of Area/Lvl/Ele/KB)

-Items

++ HP Potions

++ MP Potions

++ HP/MP Potions

++ Stat Increasing(Buff) Potions

++ Leftovers

++ Valuables

++ Game

++ Quest

++ Etc./Misc.

Fixing it up

Actually, I have a few ideas to help reduce Vandalism, and also be able to fix this without having to deal with them.

  • Everytime I start fixing up pages, I open and save the pages Wiki-Markup in jEdit(Preference of Text Editor)
  • I go through special pages->Last Changes, to try and make sure there aren't any vandalous changes.

As for the pages for weapons, yes I plan on using them all on one page per type Example : Daggers on one page, instead of for example "Fruits Dagger" on one page. That template is still usable, it's just that the weapon will simply be entitled it's own H1 on the page.

This does however mean that I will have to go through all of the guides, and check for anything that refers to certain Skills, Weapons, Armor, etc and change it to refer directly to those pages and the place on the page, for example [[Archer Skills#Focus]] instead of [[Focus]]. The changes shouldn't be too hard, but it will take some time. The down-side is that they have blocked MapleWiki at my school, so I no longer have 4th period to perform updates, which means it'll be a bit slower until June 1st. :/
