Description
Brawlers are the rowdy vigilantes of the sea, ready to strike back -- with their fists a-blazing! Right out of the gate, they acquire the skill Corkscrew Blow which hits hard and fast, lunging the user into the foe and knocking them back. Following that up, they also acquire Tornado Uppercut, which focuses the power of the user into their fists and splits the air with a sonic whirlwind that damages foes that it hits.

Of course, it's also important to focus on the Supportive Skills as well as the Offensive ones -- There's Knuckle Mastery that increases the base damage of any Knuckles the user equips, and Knuckle Booster which is paramount to a Buccaneer's ability to attack quickly. That and a few other Supportive Skills will pave your path to becoming a Buccaneer.

Brawler Basics
Brawlers are a STR-based class; they rely on it heavily in order to not only don the appropiate wristwear, but also to dish out heavy damage to the enemy. Brawlers also require a small amount of DEX in order to wear armor, although the Tempest Update in theory eliminates this requirement. Either way, it is very much possible -- as well as ideal -- to avoid placing any points in DEX and keep it at 20 for as long as possible, taking care not to pass 42 base DEX (the level of DEX one has without additive DEX from equips and buffs) under any condition, since most of the required DEX that can be obtained may be done so through equipment and buffs, however this is subjective and depends moreso on the player and their ability to acquire such equipment and buffs.

Brawlers are a close-ranged class up until the Buccaneer job. Keep this in mind and avoid taking heavy touch damage from enemies you're attacking to minimize injury -- and subsequently -- death and potion use. Somersault Kick, as well as a number of other skills in the Buccaneer class, possesses frames of invincibility which make it nearly impossible to be hit during its duration, aside from certain exceptions, such as a number of attacks in Azwan. Utilizing invincibility frames effectively will aid in reducing damage taken by the enemy.

Becoming an Brawler/Infighter
Head back to Nautilus Port after you reach level 30. Go inside and talk to Kyrin. She will teleport you to a place where a lot of Octopus spawn. You will have to collect 15 Dark Marbles to prove yourself using only Straight. Return to Kyrin with your 15 Dark Marbles and she will advance you into a Brawler.
