Every class has some sort of Mastery in accordance to the weapon(s) of their choice. Increased Masteries will grant you bonus accuracy but its main function is to enhance minimum damage and improve the stability of your range. Some masteries, mostly in 4th job grants additional attack.
Although there are other skills that contains the word Mastery, note this category is only for skills that increase your Weapon Mastery, not increase the damage of your skills.
