There are several bosses in MapleStory that are of the Balrog species. Those are:

- Soul Balrog, the level 70 boss found in the Underground Temple.
- Jr. Balrog, the Level 80 boss found deep in Sleepywood Dungeon.
- Crimson Balrog, the Level 100 boss found occasionally on the Ship to Orbis/Ellinia.
- Geist Balrog, the Level 95 boss of the Amoria Party Quest.
- Baby Balrog, the Level 48 monster summoned by Soul Balrog.
