Magicians are one of the best jobs in MapleStory. They are powerful WAY more powerful than all the other classes! They have tons of MP Points and so many supportive skills!

==Getting Started==
As you start MapleStory, chose your name and your style. When you’re done that, check out the stats section. As magicians, you ONLY need INT (Intelligence) and LUK (Luck). So basically this is what you will need:

STR:	5 or 4

DEX:    5 or 4

INT:	High as possible

LUK:	High as possible

Note: If you don't like the stats click on the red dice beside it.

==Welcome To MapleStory!==
CONGRATULATIONS! You’re now a member of MapleStory! You can start playing now; go explore the island and BEST OF ALL you’re getting closer of being a MAGICIAN!

==Leveling Up==
You got to keep killing the green snails and the blue one until LV 7. This is VERY Boring, but it has to be done.Try to do every quest, but DON’T BOTHER to do the Biggs collect of item. It’s too hard for a magician. Don’t do Mai’s training either, but do everything else. Its easy EXP points.

==The Ability Points==
Every time you level up you’ll gain 5 ability points. The ability points can be spent on STR, DEX, INT, LUK, HP, and MP. As a magician you want to make your stats so that your LUK = level + 3 and use all the others on INT.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE YOUR ABILITY POINTS ON STR, DEX, HP, AND MP! THESE ARE USELESS FOR A MAGICIAN (except for MP and HP anyway, but its still wasting it).

==Leaving Maple Island==
Once you’re level 7 and 50%, go to Southperry and talk to Shanks. He is located beside a huge ship. Talk to him and he’ll teleport you to Victoria Island for 150 mesos. 

==Lith Harbour==
When you arrive in Lith Harbor, talk to Olaf and he will give you a quest: A lesson on Job Advancement. First you'll have to answer some very easy questions, after you have done that talk to him again and chose "The Path of A Magican". He will ask you to visit Grendal the really old. Now go talk to Phil and he will teleport you to Ellina for 120 mesos.

==Becoming A Magician==
Once you’re in Ellinia, go to the top and you’ll see a magical library. Enter the library, and you will see a person floating in the air. That’s Grendel the Really Old. Talk to him and click on "A lesson on job advancement" And you'll recieve 300 EXP Points. You should be level eight now.

Talk to him and he will ask you if you want to be a magician, SO SAY YES!
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU’RE NOW A MAGICIAN!

==Skills of A Magician==
Every time you level up, you'll get 3 Skill Points. They are for improving your skills. Below is a list of a Magician's skill.

Master Level: 16
With this, you'll recover even more MP every 10 sec.

Master Level: 10
Increases the maximum amount of your MP.

Master Level: 20
Temporarily replaces damage with MP instead of HP. If MP reaches 0, the HP takes a full hit.

Master Level: 20
Temporarily boosts the weapon defense by blowing magic into the armor.

Use MP to attack one enemy.

*It is adviced that you should increase your Magic claw as it does way more damage than Energy bolt.
